What HSIA rule are you referring to? Can you elaborate on that?

I guess you are not a frequent traveler to EWR. All hotel shuttles have to pick up customers at P4. They can't pick you up at other terminals.

I don't think Four Points EWR have non-smoking suites. If you look at the floor map, all rooms are the same size.

I stayed there a few times. The hotel is not well appointed as Sheraton or Hilton, but it's a Four Points. The front desk staffs were very friendly during my visits. The hotel’s restaurant was a bit disappointed, but there are many interesting dining choices at Newark and Elizabeth area.

Sheraton Newark is a newer hotel and with more public space and a nice indoor pool. The only problem is that during weekday the room at Sheraton costs $170.00 while Four Points costs around $90.00. Weekend at Sheraton can go down to $79.00 a night, which I think it’s a bargain.
