I disagree. I flew CX several years ago (3-4) LAX-HKG and swore never again. Seats were horribly cramped, worse than AA's (even non-exit). Plus, they reclined so far that I couldn't breathe when the person in front of me reclined (even when I reclined). Also, less padding. Food was better, but still airline food. Service was OK. I've been much happier with AA and DL than with Cathay (although, in fairness, the Pier in HKG is amazing).
