We have a 6.50PM out of JFK this coming Thursday. Englewood, NJ to JFK is about 25 miles, but I am wondering how much traffic I may encounter on the GWB and Whitestone Bridge/Van Wyck on a Thursday afternoon.

What would be a reasonable departure time from Englewood.

Also, whats a better route at that time? GWB->Whitestone->678S->VWE or GWB->RFK Bridge->Bruckner Expy->Grand Central-VWE? Both are same mileage.

I am thinking I should leave by 3.30PM latest to give myself ~2+ hours to get there in time for check in. Is this enough? I have to park in LT parking also.

Edit: I just checked and the Mets are on the road. The Yankees have a home game, but it starts at 1.05PM so I shouldn't hit any extra traffic due to baseball.
