John-do you keep a large amount in the account linked to your card? I often have several back to back stays at different properties and would think the"holds" would be sizable after a few stays-which would neccesitate having a large amount of cash in an account for float.

OP=you are basing the whole Marriott Rewards program on a single stay-and a stay during which you placed extrodinary conditions upon the hotel staff?

Trust me=MR will dissapoint you far more in the future.It is probablyy best for you not to bother with it.
