The thing about R makes no sense at all. True that it's what their web page says, but it could be a mistake and simply to mean no additional miles on top of the originally booked fare?

Or maybe they have a hard time finding what the original booking code was? Or they are confusing R with Aeroplan tickets?


In any event, if one ends up in R, it most likely means that one has an Aeroplan account where one can get the credit.
