Thanks for everyone who assisted with some providing some examples. They have been forwarded to our liaison with American Express for follow-up.
At this time, I do not need any further examples and I assume that either a correction or an explanation will be forthcoming.
In the meantime, check out the Terms and Conditions of the offer to see whether or not you really think you qualified:
Terms & Conditions: Charges must post to your Starwood Preferred Guest Credit Card account from 9/15/03 through 11/15/03 to qualify. If eligible charges total $100-$999, bonus amount is 500 Starpoints. If they total $1,000 or more, bonus amount is 5,000 Starpoints. Qualifying charges do not include amounts paid to third party establishments that are not owned or operated by Starwood. An eligible charge is any amount charged to your Card at a Starwood hotel or resort that is eligible for Starpoints under the terms and conditions of Starwood Preferred Guest. Bonus Starpoints earned via this promotion are limited to 5,000 per Card account and will post to your Starwood Preferred Guest account 8-12 weeks after 11/15/03.
Personally, I think we are four weeks away from seeing these bonuses added to members' accounts as January 10 marked the eighth week.
