The promo I am referring to ended 11/15, and posting of bonuses was to be 8-12 weeks later. On Jan 16, slightly over 8 weeks later, many FTers found they had an unidentified AMEX card-related bonus posted which was equal to their spending on the *wood card at *wood properties, as if the promo was "double points" - which it was not.
For me, almost 3500 points are at stake, and I imagine among all the accounts impacted, it has to be a "major" (my actual word) number of points. I am just hoping the Lurker can check on the situation for all of us to speed up the fix.
BTW - I am
not an AMEX basher, but actually a rather contented user of several of their products. IMHO, this time, they goofed, but haven't figured it out quite yet - the power of FT to identify such an error far exceeds that of a merely mortal company.
