If someone's not an officer, I don't call them "officer." I'm not sure any TSA employees are real "officers", so I don't use the term when referring to them.

Military officers are subject to every law of the land, plus the UCMJ. Peace officers uphold the law. When they get caught trespassing against our civil rights, they face immediate discipline, censure, criminal prosecution and civil prosecution.

I can't think of an officer who is above the law. Far from it, officers are always held to a higher standard.

How can a TSA employee be an "officer?" The two are mutual exclusives.
