I had less than 90 minutes connecting in IST, on my way to TLV.

During this time, I was able to do the following:

* Get interviewed in the transfer areas (TLV, LON, other destinations? need to go through an interview before being allowed up to departures - this was a 1st for me, I didn't have to go through this the last time I connected to TLV)
* Go to Lounge
* Take a quick shower in the lounge (terrible paper towels - not impressed!)
* Grab a quick bite at the lounge
* Go to gate, pass through extra security/x-ray/metal detector

I made my flight on time, with no worries. You should be fine!
