I'm visiting Prague in mid May, and have 8 days total to work with. As I don't think Prague will really require so much time, I'm thinking of a side trip, either via rail or air.

I'm looking for recommendations; I've hit most if not all of the top cities (Vienna and Budapest in particular) so tertiary places interest me. Never been to Milan, so that's on the list. Venice, been there, but in 1978, so a refresher may be in order. Krakow perhaps? Dresden? (Been to Berlin as well).
