As stated in other threads, all rooms are basically the same except for the view. It was basically how I remembered it back when I stayed in August 2001 with the addition of a Sony CD Clock Radio. Also, all lounge chairs on property have cushions this time around.

En route to my room, I noticed the room doors nearest to the lobby were newer(painted white with molding vs worn-looking dark wood). But I doubt that was any indication the interior was any different.

Forgive me for not knowing, but what is a soft goods upgrade? Whatever it is, I don't remember being offered it.
