United.com Website Problem

Newbie here at FlyerTalk and having a problem with a page at United.com; hoping someone with more computer knowledge than me (which is just about everyone) can help. The page I’m having problems with is the “email us” page of the Customer Service pages.
On the United.com website, when I click on Customer Service I get the appropriate webpage. When I click on “email us” (the middle of the 5 tabs near the top of the page) I either get the appropriate page not at all or for a second before I end up with a page that is mostly blank and has a drop down menu box that when I click on one of the choices, nothing happens. I’ve already deleted all the UA cookies (about the limit of my computer skills) and re-tried, but no change.
This is important as last fall I emailed United Customer Solutions (about some problems I had when traveling with a companion) via their website on a computer at work and received a quick reply, to which I replied via regular email and after a few emails back and forth I received 2 $125 e-certificates. I no longer have access to a computer at work and a week ago I emailed them via the same regular email address as the exchange last fall and did not get a reply. I was traveling a few days ago and used a hotel computer to email the exact same message via the website and I received a reply within 1 day along with a $250 e-certificate.
