This is getting bizarre. I booked online on January 28, and they assigned me a record locator, PZZ8VY, for a flight from HCMC to Singapore on February 8. On February 1, I go online and cancel the reservation. I have Emails from their website to show I did this.
Anyway, when I go to request a refund, the second time, for this ticket, PZZ8VY, they come back a few days later and tell me I'm being charged a no show fee of $200, because I didn't cancel the reservation. Only the no show fee is being charged in conjunction with another record locater, JHL2BH. Their records show this was for the same flight, HCMC to Singapore, on the same date, February 8. They claim I called them and bought a second ticket, after I made and canceled the original reservation for PZZ8VY on line. I never did. If I had there would be two charges on my credit card, and there's only one, billed to my credit card on January 29. I've spoken with two agents. One told me I'm lying and the second appeared to be helpful but hasn't called me back.
At this point I'm inclined to let it drop, it's not worth the time to continue to pursue this. But it is infuriating. I would, again, be curious if anyone else has encountered something similar.
