Is time an issue? Have had a few pretty bad experiences with both Royal Mail and Parcel Force sending things to Scotland this year. Parcelforce 48h service took over 2 weeks as did a couple of firtst class packets. Local Royal Mail staff weren't surprised in any way when I complained - chronic shortage of staff coupled with a recriutment freeze in SE sorting offices apparently...
