Please DJ_Iceman, please post about the Kapalua Bay after you have had the experience.

I finally booked my little brother and his fiance their honeymoon at the Kapalua Bay and I want to make sure I made the right choice.

Thank you in advance,

Erik

Depends on when and what they are going for. Great for Golf. Otherwise, out of the mainstream. Very few places to eat within 30 min. drive.

Stayed at the Ritz Carlton. Did not think it special, although many others do.

We were there in late March/early April. The beach was unusable due to surf. The pool was unusable due to wind and air temp.

There was a big temp differential on the west side of Maui. mid day low 70's in Kapalua, and close to 90's in the south.

I just checked today's weather

Not a swim day in the north.

http://www.hawaiiweathertoday.com/co...php?pid=19#jan gives the weather pattern on a month to month basis, with a bit of sugar thrown in.
