Having recently been on my first trip in J, I really enjoyed the BA arrivals lounge at LHR T5. Part of it was the novelty factor - but I think I'd underestimated how refreshing a shower could be when you've been on the move for so long; and a nice hearty breakfast does go down better when you know the fridge will be empty when you get home. (Plus they had black pudding!)
We were there at about 9.30am on a Sunday, and the sofas seemed to be littered with sleeping passengers - which seems to back up the theory of it being somewhere comfortable to wait until hotels are likely to have rooms available.
