Hi, I will be on the road quite often and want to pick either Starwood or Marriott for those stays. I used to have SPG Gold but now I am at the basic level with out any points (expired I think) but I have Amex Platinum, so I think I can get SPG Gold status again. My main focus is to be able to use the points I get (pretty much through Hotel stays) for vacation stays in exotic locations. Which program is good for piling on points and be able to use them easily?
