I also fully support the arrivals lounge concept. Both BA and BD permit access in LHR for J passengers arriving from Moscow on their early morning flights (otherwise short haul), which means one can wake up in Moscow, fly to London dressed casually and still get to the office in London more or less at the start of the normal workday in appropriate office attire and haing just showered and completed one's morning ablutions. I have even used the lounge when returning home to London from holiday, largely because I likely have no food at home for breakfast after a holiday and enjoy the feeling of extending holiday and relaxing with a morning paper and coffee for another hour or so. The lounge is also useful if one needs to go directly to work after arriving from the US, particularly after a transatlantic flight in Y (my office has a shower, but it feels better to arrive slightly later but refreshed and ready to start, instead of arriving tired and slightly disheveled and without even a coffee).
