Yes I have redeemed a 50% mileage discount for Gold card members and using it for a 12 month ticket from LHR-BKK in F (oct 2010) BKK-BNE and BNE-BKK in biz as no F available currently (April 2011) Finally BKK-LHR in F Oct 2011. The mileage was 115,000 instead of 230,000 plus approx 500 pounds baht in tax. In fact if I had decided on Sydney it would have been F all the way !!

I have also just used another one through a nominee for BKK-BNE biz April 2011 this was 49k miles plus 200 pounds tax.
