Great news

I have registered for the HSBC promotion on February and stayed 7 nights in a Marriott Vacation Club (one week of my ownership) and one more night at a Sprighill Suites. I knew that the MVC stay wouldn't count for the 8 nights requirement, however I called Marriott Rewards to ask when would my Gold Status expire. I was told that on May, and so I said that I have stayed 8 nights, so the memebership should be extended until February 2012. I was held for about 2 minutes on the phone and then I was told that the MVC stay didn't count for the promotion, but she told me that she would make an exeption and has extended my Gold Membership until January 31, 2013!!!!!!!!!!!!
