most new somewhat cutting edge systems come either with an option for SSD if they don't already build it in. The sony z series, the new lenovos x200 series, models form HP, etc. all have SSD as either option or standard.
SSD's haven't come down in price as fast as I thought they would, but this year they will become much cheaper. While it won't be the price of HD anytime soon, I think we'll get to about 250-300$ for a nice 256GB drive, which is certainly sufficient for many of the smaller units.
