p.s. Why do British people think that Americans need translations for everything? Most of them (at least those reading the BA board) don't.

I (originally from the US) was at a party last summer and someone literally translated a GBP amount into USD "for my convenience". Never mind that (a) I am a UK citizen, (b) I have been resident in the UK for over a decade, and (c) I get paid in Sterling!
