Good feedback, Any other FT'ers have recent experiences at this property or Molokai experiences in general?

I was there recently, but really don’t know what to say about it. We stayed in the lodge, where the accommodation is just barely adequate. There was no sofa in the room and no table or desk to set up a computer, but there was a free Internet terminal in the bar. There is a nice, but rather small, pool at the lodge. The dirt road to the beach area is now open to guests, making it easier to get there. The dinner buffet at the beach is good enough, but the food in the main restaurant was terrible (a small portion of overcooked fried fish with a few overcooked asparagus and a large mound of mashed potatoes is what we were served under some fancy name I can’t recall). Some of the staff were quite nice and helpful; others seemed completely indifferent to what they were doing; none were unpleasant. All in all, we have no plans to return to Molokai. On a scale of 0 to 10 it deserves a 4. The Royal Hawaiian, the Kapalua Bay (but not the Kapalua hotel restaurant), Manele Bay and Koele (the restaurants are spectacular!) are our favorites. They would all be in the 8-9.5 range.
