My wife also has a B.A. Visa. We are not linked as Household yet.
2. If we become a Household Acct., will she still be able to get a companion pass if she goes over $30 in charges this year (remember I will be over in April)?? ie. Does B.A. restrict Comp. Pass to one per Household Acct.??

3. Can I get my adult son (same address) a B.A. VISA with bonus and then add him to the Household Acct later?

An obscure question:
3. Assuming we have the above 3 in a Household account and I die, do the miles (and unused Comp. pass) in my account move over to my wife and son -- or do they just cancel those in my acct?
Question #1: The Companion Voucher will expire two years after the date it is posted to your account, which is likely to be a few weeks after you reach the $30k spend. Outbound travel must occur prior to the expiration date of the voucher. (The Terms & Conditions state that the voucher will appear in your account 4 to 6 weeks after the billing cycle in which your reach $30k, but most folks get their voucher more quickly than that.)

Question: #2 & 3: Yes, your wife can earn a 2-4-1 voucher, and your son can get a BA Visa, either as part of a Household Account or otherwise. (My spouse has earned two vouchers, and I have earned two vouchers, and both of my adult offspring have obtained BA Visa cards, so we have four cards in our Household Account.)

I have no opinion on question #4. Death is not in my future.

Here are the Terms & Conditions on the U.S. 2-4-1 voucher:
