Why does it cost more to book SIN->SFO on SIA SIN site?
Was investing for my expat assignment and saw that all flights from SIN->SFO return was around ~USD$2000 using the SIA SIN site.

When I use the SIA US site, for the same route I get USD$1400.

Have already converted prices to base USD.

1. Why is there such a gap in price?
2. When I am living in Singapore can I use the SIA US site to book? I will have a US CC.
