There is no cooling off on Internet bookings with ba.com but there is with the phone bookings.
I did book some tickets, the agent had made a mistake and I did not see the itinerary till the next morning, complicated booking with child on his own booking with some extra flights unaccompanied. I called them to change, they insisted they were going to a change fee, but we ended up cancelling the whole thing and rebooking it again. Later a supervisor confirmed they could of just changed it under the 24 hour rule!

I also booked on expedia last year they seem to have a 24 hour cooling off limit, but booked either way. Was handy when my wife was stuck and not sure which flight she was going to make. I made 3 expedia bookings then cancelled the 2 she did not use, far cheaper than booking flexible tickets. It was very last minute, One way fares.
