In a few days, my premium shipping trial expires, so I have to decide whether I want to cancel. If I am banned permanently, I certainly should cancel.

I am somehow under the vague impression that the $5k limit stated on AmEx's personal gift cards page is cumulative over a two week period for orders placed rather than orders accepted, so I will probably be denied for any order I place in the next two weeks. On the other hand, given the time frame for my decision and that Wirachay has reported also getting an unexpected denial at about the same time, I figure it's probably worth a short to just to place a new small order on the off chance that it gets accepted.

I'd certainly be interested in hearing if anyone has ever been able to complete an AmEx gift card order after receiving a rejection for going over order limits when the rejected order did bring the buyer's orders over $5k in 14 days.
