The above law is based upon the Koran.
Unfortunately, I heard this very thing this morning about the corageous Libyan woman who alleged she was raped by Quadaffi loyalists.
Now, she is being sued by the individuals she made the allegations against for slander.
In addition, although the Libyan authorities say she was released to her home, her parents have said she has never returned from custody.
Finally, some in the Libyan media have reportedly said that she was a mentally unbalanced prosititute.
These matters cry out for a change in the respective countries' judicial system, as the above-noted case is truly a perversion of justice.
