This may change to a IAH-NRT-SIN and return itinerary - then the UA flight segments would be NRT - SIN - NRT.
I am careful when I fly UA business class. The 747 has, I believe, a 2-4-2 configuration downstairs, and 2-2 upstairs. I recently flew UA SFO - PVG in business class, and sat upstairs. Overall, it was pretty good. There is very little overhead storage (not enough for my roller suitcase, so it was stored at the top of the stairs). I had a window seat, so there was side storage.
I couldn't imagine paying ~$10,000 for a business class ticket and still be stuck in a middle seat downstairs. Thats brutal. Makes the 2-2-2 configuration on the CO 777 look ideal.
