Overall, and despite the shortcomings mentioned regarding the timeliness of the service, this property still is a viable option if you want to get SPG stay credit. And the rates you are getting online are not bad either… perhaps I have to check out how much the Sandton costs.

I am planning a trip to Johannesburg and Krugerpark this year. I want to visit this area since by grandparents lived here.

I did understand that the Sheraton is a comfortable hotel, however with with a very "relaxed service"! I do like the economic rates however.
But what about it's location, how did you experience the location of the hotel? Is it easy/possible to go around for some sightseeing?
And how much are the costs for the transfer to JNB airport?
