There are others here that complained about this situation. Why not just fix it and move on.
It should take just one call.
If you work in IT you will know that things are a) never that simple, b) sometimes go wrong despite endless testing, c) the fixes are prioritised which could mean that the BA managers have decided to spend time and effort on more pressing issues.
If you begrudge making the phone call to BA ask them to compensate you for it
