TSA has affected my travel. I usually have 30k miles flown, now I have 0k
I stopped flying. I am tired of being treated as a threat, of opting out of the cancer machines that are operated by unqualified individuals, and the pat downs.
So I do road trips. I have driven everywhere I needed to fly to. In 2 months I move to Boston. Instead of flying and getting miles and status, I am going to rent a car and do a cross-country road trip.
I am super excited about it because I've always wanted to do a cross-country, but at the same time, I am REALLY annoyed that the security theater is so intrusive that I stopped flying.
How long before they head to the highways? They already had some heat with AMTRAK and are talking about expanding to other areas of everyday life.
I remember when the TSA started people said "if you don't like it, don't fly. Flying is not a right but a privilege" ....
just had to get this frustration off my chest
