On a recent (paid) BA flight in F there was 1, (yes 1) choice of desert (as per the printed menu) after the meal. Chocolate Sphere with Sago pearls and lychee sauce?? which was basically a fancy bit of chocolate cake. I have seen better desserts in Tescos. Extremely poor for an alleged top product and I was very dissapointed. Chocs in the cabin were scoffed/touched by numerous children in the cabin. Yuk! Table laid out as if I were in a transport cafe, tea and coffee was warm. The cabin and toilets were falling to pieces (G-CIVR). Of course I wrote to CS and was compensated but I'd rather not have been and enjoyed the product.

A bit OT but what would be your favourite menu if you had the choice. Mines would be

Tattie or Lentil Soup
Haggis/Turnip and Tatties or Stovies with HP brown sauce
Lucas Ice cream ( a local delicacy) with lashings of strawberry sauce.

HIDDY don't you miss these type of meals
