Airline can't find Matrix ITA Software fare quote
I've used the Matrix ITA Software to search for a one-way flight on UL. They show a fare which originally wasn't my preference which was a mixed class flight in Y and C. However, it's only $50 more expensive so I thought that'd be worth it.
I called Sri Lanken and asked them to book this fare in O/J class. However, they are unable to do this. They can only book as 2 separate tickets and then the fare is a lot higher. They were helpful but in the end couldn't assist. The fare rules on Matrix ITA Software didn't help them either.
Has anyone had problems booking fares displayed on this website with the airlines? Is there anything else I could try to make this booking then?
