Thanks. Some phones seem to have skype pre-installed (like the Nokia N900) so voip seems to be an easy option.

Anyone has recommendations on specific models? again, my wishlist is:
- slider qwerty keyboard
- wifi
- HTML browser (SSL, cookies) so pages load as they would on a PC
- 5MP or better camera
- quad band GSM (& preferably support for 3/4G)
- easily connects to a PC to transfer files (usb/bluetooth)
