FWIW, over the years, there have been *wood properties in Naples. There just aren't any there now.

One of the downsides of the *wood network is that they don't have the coverage that some other brands can offer (e.g. Hilton family, Marriott family).

I remember at one point about a decade ago realizing that *wood had like 4 properties in the greater ATL area, while Marriott had more than 40.
