What hotel (or area if you are staying in a home) will you be at?

Right at the Woodlands mall, there is the water taxi service to many of the bigger national chains along the canal. More "local" options would require driving a bit.

is it this next weekend? If it is in April there are concert there at the Woods Mitchell Pavilion http://www.woodlandscenter.org/welco...ate=2011-03-28

The Jones state forest is just up IH-45 off FM 1488 rd (west bound). It has trails and such if you like "woodsy nature".

This gives events in the area:

Old Town Spring is just down the road east of IH-45. It goes for the olde timey vibe and has many local food joints and handburger shacks plus galleries and shopping.
