...and I've searched around on the forum and found various responses. What does "Maximum Occupancy" mean in Europe (and Paris in particular, and the Vendome even more particular)? I've seen comments that it was based on fire code, then others that it could be increased with a supplement (though that children didn't count if the same bedding).
The Vendome has:

> # 1 King or 2 Twin/Single Bed(s)
> # Rollaway beds not permitted
> # Cribs permitted: 1
Maximum Occupancy doesn't sound like it includes the kid in the crib. As well, a king will readily hold two adults and a child. Does "Maximum Occupancy" to the total persons, to the adults, or something else?
