Heading to SE Asia in Jan/Feb and would appreciate some insight into the hotels in Kuala and Bangkok please?

How would you rate the Sheraton in Kuala vs. the new Westin?

Separately do either hotels have rooms with balconies? Also in Bangkok I do either of the *wood properites have balcony rooms please?
