No free breakfast for Platinum in April 2010. On the second day, I was upgraded to an ocean front suite, but only after a lot of negotiation with the front desk. The resort fee was charged, but there were no perks associated with it, other than low-speed internet. Your rate seems good, as the best I could get was $270 (for "Island/resort View").
