I've had to wait ~20-30 minutes for a room both times I tried this month. The Yotel check-in person refused to take my name down to queue (not very British if you ask me), explaining that they don't use a list and instead she "remembers people's faces" when a room becomes available... I was skeptical, but eventually got a room.
