Check-in was done by Iberia staff (I think four desks were open), and the gate agents were also from Iberia (there were two). There was no SSCI machine, and the queue moved very slowly for whatever reason. But the staff members were very friendly.
I had no problem with the staff telling me where the lounge was. However, it's quite a long walk as it is in Hall 1 (landside). It was a little hard to find due to poor sign-posting - no sign pointing to a lounge. I eventually spotted lifts the mentioned the Iberia/TAP/British Airways lounge, across the corridor from the AirEuropa ticket desk / Iberia ticket desk next to the AirEuropa ticket desk.
