Have not flown AA in many years. Considering changing to AA from MP. Primarily fly LAX-MEL-LAX. If I did status match, would be AA Plat at moment.

flights for May 2011, shows AA (QF operated) Q Fare. Can't figure out if I would get 100% or 0.50% miles for booking and what percentage as bonus for status?

Also from a miles/status view, if booked on QF, would I obtain more miles than via codeshare?

MP would credit 100% miles, plus add'l 100% for status for their corresponding fare code.
