I might be one of a minority but I actually quite like CE. When flying from JER and having to do a LGW-LHR ground transfer it offers more peace of mind if something goes wrong, and if the crew are good, it can feel worth the extra. The crew on my last CE flight gave it such a nice personal touch- they seemed like they were really enjoying looking after us. The CE cabin only had 10 pax on board and it was only a LGW-JER when we were op-up'd, but the crew still made a good impression!
We also find great deals on CE. Our latest find was 4 nights in a 4* in Barcelona with CE flights (all the way from JER) for £600pp... seems fairly reasonable, and the price with ET flights is £450pp and paying the extra £150 each is a no brainer for us!
I have to agree Mikey, I also like CE as a lowly blue member it gives me the little extras i enjoy! like the lounge access for example and more legroom! And plus like you say get a nice crew and its very pleasant my last 2 CE experiences have been more than enjoyable and its nice to sit at the front of the plane
I have just booked a CE trip to prague the last weekend in april as a surprise for my girlfriend and i am really looking forward to it especially that its from T5
