Poor experience at Paris Orly (ORY)

BA just started its ORY-LHR service so I decided to give it a try. Took the 7:30 flight from Paris. They depart from Orly-West not Orly-South as Openskies. They are based in Hall 3. This is a small separate "hall" (terminal) in Orly-West mostly used by AF subsidiaries (cityjet..) for their European flights. There is a half dozen gates.
Upon arrival at ORY, there was one check-in desk manned by two third-party agents. I asked where the lounge was and got a blank face. repeated the question in French and one suddenly understood and said "after security". Security took 15 min to clear (one single lane). The gate area is very small and there is one lounge, but it is an AF lounge. Basically, I had to exit security, go to the other end of the Terminal (Hall 1) to go to the Iberia lounge. I did not want to spend the two long walks and reclear security, soI bought a coffee at the local coffee shop. No newspaper available (cannot be bought in the secure area). The boarding was done by a single agent and no BA staff in sight. Very long boarding line. There was a blue BA newspaper rack but empty. Someone ahead complained loudly that there was never any journal available in his three experiences. So the whole wait and flight was without reading material. Then we were bused to the plane. In the meanwhile I could see the elite pax coming out of the AF lounge to board a cityjet flight to LCY (from jetway), having enjoyed the lounge and with newspapers widely available in the lounge and the gate.
Upon return LHR-ORY (arriving sunday at 13:30) we had to wait 27min in the plane because there was no gate available. Must be that AF is making it difficult for BA. Again no BA agent around. And the arrival section is really a dump.
So the whole experience was quite poor. despite the longer ride to CDG, I will fly from CDG next time!
