For international travel, I see advantages to carrying the Platinum or EXP card with you.

For domestic travel, is there any real advantage to having the AA Gold/Plat/EXP card with you? Your status is printed on the ticket.

I am trying to thin down my wallet. I asked in the MM mile thread with no response.
