When I commented to the staff at check out, all he said was sorry. No mention of either points or alternative.

When I wrote to the Front Office Manager, Ms S, she insisted that the items were there but didn't tell me where to look.. if its in the fridge, at least tell that to the guest upon check in!

She said that she would upgrade me next time I stay. I declined and asked for points instead. She wrote back and said that no, she won't give me any but she will upgrade me next stay instead.

I wrote back to say that does she think that I will stay at the hotel again after such a remark? I'm going back to the Pk Hyatt where I normally stay and should have stayed in the first place. At least the service is consistent and I get free breakkie as well.

Now why does this hotel call itself "Royal" when its anything but that?
Why do you complain about the fact that they put water in a fridge ?

Why do ask for points, if you cannot find the fridge...

Kudos for the staff. There is a thin line between being right and ticking off the customer and some marketing gurus constantly point out that nobody ever won an argument with a customer, but with all due respect, the hotel is right on the money this time.
