All of the above sounds accurate to me.
It still doesn't explain how I got this offer from Wynn/Encore though. I'm your average Joe...I make a pretty good income; have a pretty nice house; have three pretty good (j/k) kids, etc. I only gambled once at Wynn. I spun the wheel and gambled long enough to earn a spin on that wheel. The wheel actually landed on $500 in slot credit. The credit only netted $250, FYI. I left and continued my gambling at Palazzo each stay.
