Assuming you are Canadian.

Do you collect Aeroplan miles? Then Air China is the only way to go.

If you collect Sky Team then Aeroflot would be a better go.

I fly Air China 8-10 times a year and have had no problems what so ever. You shouldn't compare service because it is never going to be as good as Cathay, Singapore, JAL etc.
