But i did make sure that the flights correlated,
Flight A: BA0125, until the change yesterday this was due to depart at 10.50am on the 6th April arriving in Doha at 21.20 followed by
Flight B: QR380 leaving Doha at 01.10 on the 7th April (so a bearable 4 hour stopover)
Now thanks to the reschedule its
Flight A: BA0125 departing at 22.30 (yes 12 hours later than the original booking!!) arriving in Doha at 07.50 the following day(so we miss our flight)
However by accepting the seats in club world on the 5th we will can at least still use Flight B although we will have an unbearable 18 hour stopover. I just dont understand why this is my fault, and no dont worry im not offended by your tone, it is hard to come across well in an email, please dont think im sitting here thinking im perfect and trying to blame BA or the problems in Bahrain, its just that i think i did everything i possibly could to organise a stress free streamlined journey and now in order to remedy this i am forking out £240 to pick the seats i want plus another £300 for a hotel (yes there are cheaper options but i dont use my precious annual leave to stay anywhere grotty!) it just seems unfair and i feel sorry for people who dont have the finances to just remedy these changes.
